The History
Mission
Activity
The first community foundations in Poland were established in the late 1990s. At the beginnging they were supported by the Academy for the Development of Philanthropy in Poland, but gradually began to build their independence, which contributed to the creation of an informal network of community funds in 2000, and the Federation registered in 2009 by the National Court Register – Community Foundations in Poland (FFL). Currently, there are 15 funds associated with the FFL, covering over 50 municipalities with their activities.
Promotion of local philanthropy and development of community foundations in Poland.
We create space and look for development opportunities for pro-social and business activities based on common goals and values. By sharing our knowledge with others, we inspire, support, create change and strengthen local foundations and their partners in action
We care about honest dialogue, which is why we create an open space in which we mutually respect, support, inspire and learn from each other.
We build and co-create social and business partnerships based on common goals, vision, values , and foundations for positive changes in our local communities.
Through collective impact and the active involvement of FFL members and our partners, we create a more effective support system for new and effective ways of solving social problems.
Cooperation and the wise use of the potential and the resources in each community foundation, coordination of collaborative efforts, strengthening the effectiveness of decisions made and actions implemented, and the maximization of final results.
The Federation of Community Foundations in Poland is an association that brings together Community Foundations.
